It’s a new year and time to meet a new theologian! Gregory Walter is a professor of religion at St. Olaf in Minnesota and author
of Being Promised: Theology, Gift & Practice – one of the 5 books on the Theology Nerd’s Christmas list. In our conversation we discuss Luther, Derrida, phenomenology, Jungel, and a bunch of other goodies. Greg’s book is pretty awesome. It’s ground-breaking, less than 100 pages, nerdy and practical…. plus the cover pic is stylish.
I had a HUGE blast talking with Dr. Walter. When you get to talk about a book you enjoyed, get side tracked on Jungel, and discuss the Hobbit it’s called a podcast victory! I can’t wait for his next visit to Homebrewed.
